Members Only - Combined Training 2017

 

Member's training sessions are held from Spring to early Autumn at Blueridge Equestrian Centre, Falkirk, usually from 7pm - 9pm.

 

Please remember that if you withdraw after the closing date the entry fees must still be paid.

Show Jumping Lessons

 

The September show jumping lesson dates with Blyth Brewster are available for booking:

*Tues 19 September

 

Blyth is based on the east side of Stirling, near Causewayhead and has a fantastic outdoor arena.

 

There are two lesson groups. The 6.30pm group is usually for riders jumping below 80cm, often jumping up to or around 60cm. The 7.30pm lesson is for riders jumping 80cm and above.

 

With four riders per lesson group, the cost per person is £15. The usual cancellation notice period of 72 hours applies.

Lessons update

 

Member's lessons are held at a variety of venues and are shown on the Glenbrae Riding Club events calendar. We're about to offer our members the opportunity to book their lessons online so keep an eye out at clubentries.com

 

A new addition to our 2017 jumping instructors is Conor Bangham, who comes to Glenbrae Riding Club with a wealth of experience:

 

1999 - 2000 - worked for dressage teachers in Ridskolan Strömsholm, Sweden's national riding academy. Tuition from instructor in dressage and show jumping who rode at national and international level.

 

2001 - 2010 - Yard manager and Instructor at the Garda Mounted Unit, Irish mounted police. Trained horses and riders in flatwork, jumping, puissance work. Gained ACPO Accredited Instructor qualification

 

2010 - present - moved to Scotland and work as a freelance instructor in both flatwork and jumping. Various diversity of clients from pony club to adults. Peebles Pony Club chief instructor.
